Trivia / Info:Edit

  • The Recombo DNA liner notes say this studio recording was played live (in one take) onto 2-track tape, likely during a break from a "Freedom Of Choice" album recording session.
  • Mark plays a repeating synth line reminiscent of carnival music.
  • Edited down to 2:43, this song was first released as a 6" square, 331/3 RPM flexi disc. It was available in the August 1988 Reflex Magazine (issue #6) on one side of the flexi "Soundsheet #5".
  • Manufactured by Eva-Tone, who first introduced flexi discs as "Soundsheets ®."
  • A yellow banner on the magazine cover reads - FLEXI WITH UNRELEASED DEVO CUT AND COLIN NEWMAN'S "LOST CD TRACK"!
  • The prosthetic version adds back the music cut from the flexi disc edit.
